This EU project under the Driving Urban Transitions programme develops a participatory foresight methodology to co-create mobility visions for the 15-minute city (2025 – 2027).

Through six Civic Labs in Brussels, Kortrijk, Matosinhos, Budapest, Cologne, and Toruń, CONIFER explores access, perceptions, and narratives around local mobility using both quantitative and creative participatory methods, incl. Art, Design, Gamification, and AI-supported tools. The project empowers citizens—especially youth, parents, and educators—to actively shape future urban mobility cultures through inclusive co-design.The resulting visions for sustainable urban mobility will be evaluated and translated into policy strategies, blueprints, and recommendations for other cities.
